Hallow'een: celebrating Lucy's 4th birthday

" I'm looking for something to celebrate my dog's birthday", I said, looking over the shelves of dried pigs ears,  turkey feet, and other goodies at the pet store. "What about pizza and beer?" said the lady in the store. I thought she was joking, until she took the items down from the shelf for me. Here they are, though I did not buy them for Lucy. 

After having her picture taken with her present she retreated into her crate to tear the paper into tiny pieces. Her gifts were a duck that squacks when you bite down on it's head, and a large dried piece of bulls sinew. 

Here she is, being a good girl posing with her gifts and cake: the cake is made of wet dog food with pieces of sheeps windpipes for candles. Yum, yum:

The guests at her party were Garfunkle...

Puseline, and Piril. She played with each in turn, climbed on the sofa (bad dog) and generally behaved like a child that has had too much candy.
